CANCELLATION POLICY

Distinctive Flavours commences sourcing of ingredients and decorations well in advance therefore, initial deposits are non-refundable.

In addition, should final payment not be received and confirmed by email no less than 1 week prior to the date of pick up or delivery, Distinctive Flavours reserves the right to cancel the order.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • By placing an order, you confirm that the details provided in your enquiry form are correct.

  • All quotes given are valid for one week from when the quote was provided. Distinctive Flavours reserves the right to amend the quote as and when required.

  • Acceptance of the quote is confirmation that all details are correct.

  • Orders will be confirmed once a non-refundable 50% deposit via bank transfer has been received and confirmed by email. The remaining amount is payable via bank transfer one week prior to pick up or delivery.

  • Delivery is subject to an additional fee and is subject to approval. Delivery must be negotiated prior to confirmation of the order.

  • All cakes are made to order and decorated by hand. Therefore, there will be subtle differences between orders and no cake or colour can be perfectly replicated and may vary from online depictions.

  • Distinctive Flavours does not copy any external images but takes inspiration from images provided.

  • Distinctive Flavours reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cake(s) and desserts, before, during and after set up, to use for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation to you.

  • All orders are subject to the availability of ingredients and materials. If a substitution is required, Distinctive Flavours reserves the right to substitute these items without prior consultation.

  • Cake decorations such as fruits and flowers are subject to seasonal availability.

  • Distinctive Flavours takes no responsibility for any damage that may occur to any of our products after they have been handed over. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct handling, storage and removal of any inedible decorations or cake supports. Please see FAQs for food handling and transportation suggestions.

  • Please note that there will be a 20% loading for any order made with less than one week’s notice.
