About Distinctive Flavours…

My love of all things sweet was fostered by my Mum’s cooking. Arriving home from school each day to a table full of homemade afternoon treats was always a given. I started by making birthday cakes as my four children grew, as well as treats for holidays and special occasions. As my passion and ability as a self-taught baker grew, I began sharing homemade cakes, cookies and sweets with my family and friends, and their friends - and so Distinctive Flavours was born.

My concept is simple; to produce beautiful custom-made cakes and cookies for special occasions, using only the finest quality ingredients. Growing up on a dairy farm, fresh produce was always available and a part of every meal. From an early age I learnt the meaning of “paddock to plate” and today, it is a priority that I include only the finest quality ingredients in my cooking to create delicious and truely distinctive flavours.
